“Before we go any further, I’d like to show you all a game I made up. This game is called ‘Sounds of the Studio’ and it can be played with any record, including this one. You may be surprised! Now if you have a pair of headphones, you better get ‘em out and get ‘em cranked up. Cause they’re really gonna help you.”
The most popular Super 8 film ever, the Kodachrome 40 ASA, no longer exists. The production has stopped since 2005, and developing the film was possible until december last year. With the last 25 yellow boxes, the Dutch filmmaker Johan Kramer made 25 portraits of 8 year old kids through the Netherlands. The film is called Bye Bye Super-8 and will be shown in the Kunsthal in Rotterdam, as a part of the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), which begins tomorrow. This film is a unique goodbye to the legendary Super 8 film. Watch a fragment of the film below:

Beautiful short skateboard film by Bratt Novak, featuring the skateboarder Kilian Martin. He is the new Rodney Mullen!
UNDERCITY is an interesting and daring short film by Andrew Wonder, in which he follows urban historian and photographer Steve Duncan. Steve and Andrew explore the inside of NYC, from the tops of bridges to the depths of sewer tunnels. Steve’s explorations of the subterranean environment are said to help him “puzzle together the interconnected, multi-dimensional history and complexity of the great metropolises of the world.”. A very insightful and eye opening watch!
I want to wake up every day with this song, so fucking space!
